Room story 01
The blush master bedroom
One patterned wall, three quiet ones, and a lot of small warm lights. Here is where every single thing in this room came from.

The big decisions
These five set the whole room. Most are made to order, so what you need is the source rather than a link to add to cart.
Space of JoyChinoiserie wallpaper
The whole room is built around it — painted-style florals with birds, on a soft blush ground. One wall only; the other three stay plain.
Asian PaintsWall and ceiling paint
Morning Glory on the plain walls, Jharokha on the ceiling. Both soft enough that the wallpaper stays the loudest thing in the room.
Grayon HomesThe furniture, custom made
Bed, TV unit, side tables, dressing ledge and wardrobe were all made to order together, which is why the ivory finish matches across the room.
F&F FabricsSheer linen curtains
Full height, pinch pleat, with a cream border along the bottom. Fabric bought by the metre and stitched to size.

The bedside
Everything here is small, warm and switch-on-able. The lamp is the only thing I’d call essential — the rest is layering.
- 1Ceramic table lampIKEA
Speckled off-white base with a linen drum shade
- 2Gold pineapple showpieceAmazon
The one thing on this table that isn’t quiet
- 3Cut-glass candleAmazon
The faceted jar is worth keeping after it burns down

Two
The dresser corner
A floating ledge instead of a dressing table. It keeps the floor clear and makes the corner feel twice its size.
- 9Round gold-rim mirrorAmazon
Drilled into the wall, not leaning
- 10Woven hanging basketsAmazon
I used three, spaced at different heights
- 11Pink makeup organiserAmazon
The dome lid is the point — it keeps makeup away from dust
- 12Arched full-length mirrorAmazon
Fixed onto the wardrobe shutter
- 13Self-adhesive bird hooksAmazon
What the baskets hang from — no drilling needed
- 14Miniature velvet sofaAmazon
A jewellery stand, technically. It lives on the ledge
Three

This is where my manifestations and vision board live
- 16Green velvet accent chairAmazon
Deep enough to actually sit and read in
- 17Faux bird of paradise plantAmazon

The leaves are the good kind of fake
Four
The walls
Wallpaper, plates, framed photos, a shelf and a few decals. None of them compete, because only one wall is actually patterned.

Five
The balcony
It is the first thing you see from the bed, so it gets treated as part of the room rather than as storage. A swing, one long trough on a stand, and a small pot that came back inside.
- 37Hanging swing chairAmazon
Cushioned, hangs on chains from the balcony ceiling
- 38Rectangle plant standAmazon
Black metal, sold as a pair — one of them carries the long trough
- 39Ceramic cup planterAmazon
Pink with white polka dots — the smallest bit of the palette, repeated
